You can take care of your social media in 30 minutes a day. Now I know some of you already are thinking that’s impossible. I promise you, it is not impossible.

How? Boundaries, baby. I’m gonna give you some practical steps for how to make your time the most effective and efficient it can be in 30 minutes a day. This is what we cover in episode 21 of my podcast. Click here to listen, or read on!

Here are the 5 things you need to do:

  1. Post content on your business profile. Whatever business profile you have decided to use, whether that’s LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, or maybe it’s all three, post content every day, nearly every day- I don’t know. You get to decide the cadence and let your audience determine how often they wanna hear from you.

  2. Check-in with your champions and advocates. Comment on their posts. Share something about them that will be of service to them. If they have an event coming up, share about it. Comment on it. Check-in with your champions and advocates. It is one of the simplest ways for you to support those people in your life.

  3. If you are part of a networking group, check-in on their content. This is one of the simplest things anyone can do in a women’s networking organization, a BNI group, a chamber of commerce. It’s something they can do to support the other members, but it just doesn’t happen.

If every member of a BNI group, a chamber of commerce, a women’s networking organization, took 30 minutes a day to go comment on their other members’ content, It would raise the visibility not only of every person in the group, every business owner in the group, but also of the group as a whole. So, comment.

And I think this is part of the thing; it’s easy to do, and it’s also easy not to do.

4. Reply to any comments on your content. I know. This one seems like a no-brainer. But when there are comments on your content, it tells the algorithm that what you are talking about is “popular.” So, if you are commenting, even if you’re thanking them for commenting or thanking them for their input or putting a smiley face in there, it’s showing the algorithm that your content is more interesting.

5. Log out of Facebook! I know. I’m laughing because I’ve done the same thing you’ve done. Wait! I need to go to Facebook. I need to look for this one little thing. Maybe it’s somebody’s email address. Maybe it’s somebody’s phone number. And the next thing I know, I’ve spent an hour wasting my time scrolling.

Look. You really can do social media in less than 30 minutes a day. So log out. And not just Facebook, you know? Quit watching Reels, and get the heck off of TikTok.

What is one action you can take from what you’ve just read today? What is one way you can reduce the amount of time, but also still be effective by limiting your time, on social media? It does take a little bit of effort and some serious intentionality, but you can do it. I believe in you.

I really do look forward to hearing from you, however you wanna reach out. Do you wanna send me a text or an email or a message on Facebook? I would love to hear it.
