Can you increase productivity in Facebook groups for yourself? I’ve heard over and over that people would like to stay connected to their favorite Facebook groups, but don’t want to get bogged down by the feed – and then scrolling mindlessly.
This hack works great! Then, when you have a few minutes to spend time on Facebook, you can target your time to the groups that are most important or impactful to you.
Here’s how I do it for different devices:
For Android users: Open the Facebook app. Search for the group(s) you want to see regularly. Click the three dots on the upper right hand corner, then click “Add to Home Screen.”
If you are the group owner, it’s slightly different. Search for the group. Click the shield with the star. Click “Your Settings” and then click “Add to Home Screen.”
If you are an iPhone user, you can follow the same process with a slight change. Instead of opening the app, use a web browser on your phone to go to Facebook.com and follow the same steps.
Once you’ve added groups to your home screen, you can gather them together – as shown in the photo.
